Small Groups
Our Small Groups meet in the casual atmosphere of a home for the purpose of building friendships, providing encouragement, offering support, and helping others to develop spiritually. Who are Small Groups for? Small Groups are for anyone interested. It doesn't matter where you are spiritually or how little you feel you understand. Our groups are designed to meet you where you are at and help you to grow spiritually. Why does SMC have Small Groups? We believe that people are looking for meaningful relationships and an opportunity to get connected with others in a smaller context than the Sunday morning gathering for worship. We also believe that home groups provide the relaxed context for people to freely ask questions and grow in their own understanding of Jesus Christ, themselves, others, and God’s Word. When do Small Groups start? Our Small Groups will begin in September with a Celebration Kickoff event at individual houses. The groups typically meet until the end of March. Once you have signed up for a group, one of our Small Group leaders will give you a call with all of the details. Would you consider signing up for one of our Small Groups? |
