The River Kids Church reaches and teaches kids between the ages of newborn to 6th grade. The River exists to reach kids by helping them to experience a vertical relationship with God, caring relationships with other kids and to equip and involve them in service.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

It's that time again! This summer, we’re setting sail for VBS fun on the HIGH SEAS! Kids will feel the sea spray on their face as sails snap overhead. They’ll experience the deep rolling waters of God’s love. It’s easily the best time they will have all summer. Don’t miss the ship — register now to be a part of this High Seas Expedition VBS!

Trained guides provide a safe and loving enviornment for your baby. Your little one will be loved and well cared for in the River nursery.
Nursery Captain: Adrina Chatwin

In the Toddler room, we begin to teach your child basic concepts of the Bible through fun songs, crafts and story time. Each session also provides free time for children to play and enjoy a snack.
Toddler Room Captain: TBD

In the 4 years-Kindergarten class, children will experience relevant Bible stories and enjoy fun music and games. Class time also includes free time to play and enjoy a snack.
Kindergarten Captain: Lisa Jensen

In this class we take the concepts of the Bible to a new level by challenging kids to actively think aobut what they are being taught. Kids have the opportunity to enjoy meaningful music while they learn about the value and importance of worship in all aspects of life.
1st & 2nd Grade Captain: John Dilley

The 3rd and 4th graders experience worship through meaningful music, relevant Bible teachings and how to actively apply thim to their lives. This class enviornment encourages, connects and values the 3rd - 4th grade age group.
3rd & 4th Grade Captain: Tiffany Abbott

In Area 56, preteens will experience a fun and challenging environment where they will engage in discussion and have the opportunity to ask questions. They will discover what it means to know, love and follow Jesus Christ. We also have Saturday Night Mixes on each 2nd Saturday of each month. This provides an opportunity to meet and connect with other Area 56-ers while enjoying games, snacks and music.
